Community Supported Agriculture

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a unique relationship of mutual support and commitment between local farmers and their community.
At the beginning of each season, individuals and families directly invest
in the operation of the farm by buying a “share” of the farm’s harvest.
The CSA model is an economically viable way for small-scale farmers
to produce high-quality food in an ecologically sustainable way.
By participating in a CSA,  members receive the freshest available
local food and cultivate a valuable relationship with their neighbors,
their farmers, their food and the land.

Our CSA shares are available from June through October and include access to the Pick-Your-Own Plot where you are free to take advantage of culinary herbs, tomatoes, peas, hot/sweet peppers, zinnias, sunflowers and more. Members can choose to pick-up their Vegetable and Egg shares at the farm TUESDAY’S from 4-6pm or FRIDAY’S from 5-7PM. (Add-on Shares are available for Friday pick-up only.) Our members are always invited to join us for special events including field tours, potlucks, Supper Clubs and the annual End of Season celebration.

Vacation Days

Summer is a great time for vacations and we want our members to have the flexibility to take a few weeks off from picking up their shares. Members can choose to skip up to 3 weeks during the main season and make them up during the first three weeks of November. If you are interested in the option, check the "Vacation Days" box when you sign up. This will give us an idea of how many extra shares to plan for in the Fall. Schedule your vacation days with us well in advance or let us know a week before you plan to leave. This can also be a great option for members who love brussels, sunchokes, parsnips, celeriac, squash and storage vegetables that they don't get enough of during the main season.

Payment Options

You can choose to pay for your shares in full with a check or online with your credit card. If you are paying in full and do so before February 15th, you can take $20 off your vegetable share for an "early sign-up" discount. If you would prefer to break up your payments, you can choose to make a 50% deposit when you sign-up (deposits are non-refundable) and pay the balance by April 15. We will continue to sign up member's until June 1 or until the CSA becomes full.

partnering farms

We are privileged to farm in a region that has embraced and supports small, sustainable, family-operated farms. To share that bounty and to expand access to locally produced, nutrient rich food, we partner with neighboring farms to fill more of our members plates with ingredients they know are of the highest quality and from farms they can be proud to support. All of our partners are family-operated and utilize regenerative practices, practice rotational grazing and never use synthetic chemicals. Our members can choose to sign up for offerings from any, all or none of the add-on shares taking advantage of more more options and variety at one pick-up.
